As hard as it is to believe, we are already half way through October. The pumpkin spice craze has begun, the leaves have started to fall, the mornings are frosty and Christmas decorations are on sale. And all of this can only mean one thing...it's time for a new 'do and new makeup ideas! Fall fashion/hair/makeup are the only things that keep me going as the temperatures drop. I have been researching the latest hair and makeup trends for a few weeks now, and I am ready to pass on the love.

DIY: Vanity

The past few months I have been fantasizing about having a glamorous vanity. You know, one like you see in the movies with bright round bulbs lining the huge mirror and pretty drawers under the table top all done up in a Victorian fashion. I finally decided to investigate the damage one of those would set me back and found out that they are freaking expensive (anywhere from $200-$2,000)! My dreams were instantly crushed. But something had to happen...my current set up was a nightmare. 

Experience: Make Up Removers

I remember being a teenager, not too long ago, who hated washing her face. Why? Because make up is difficult to remove. Now that I am a little bit older and have been though some esthetic training in beauty school, I understand the importance of a thorough face cleaning every night. Not only will the lack of washing your face cause avoidable break outs, but it will also age the skin quickly.

For those of you who do not know what IPSY Glam Bag is, you are in for a real beauty treat! It's a popular beauty subscription box bag. For $10 a month you take a beauty quiz to figure out your beauty profile and they send personalized hair/skin care/cosmetic products right to your door. The Glam Bag always comes with a make up bag and 4-6 products, some times samples and some times full size products.

Rockin' Review: OPI Bond Girl Liquid Sand Mini Set

I don't know about you, but I never seem to be able to finish a full bottle of nail polish. Before I get through it, the formula gets thick and unusable. Or I just plain get tired of the color. That's why I love getting the mini collections. At this point in my life, I think I have more mini bottles of polish than I do full size ones.

LOTD Cobalt Liner & Coral Lips

I just got this FACE Stockholm Matte Shadow in Stubborn (the cobalt blue) in my June Wantable Beauty Box last week. As soon as I saw it, I envisioned this look. I love wearing bright colors, especially in my hair, but sometimes bright blue eye shadow can be super intimidating. That's why I used it as a bottom lash line liner with neutral/copper liner and shadow. And I think it looks just marvelous!

June Wantable Beauty Box Review

I had been reading about Wantable for a little while before I decided to sign up. I was only able to find positive reviews about this one, and believe me, I tried to find something negative so I wouldn't want to sign up! This is a unique subscription box program because they let you pick between a beauty box or a jewelry box. You make your decision and fill out a detailed survey to determine what products you like and hate. The subscribtion is $36 a month with the option to opt out or pause at any time. So, I went for it! My box was delivered THREE days after I purchased it. THREE DAYS!! I couldn't believe how quick it was.

LOTD 6.13.13

I did a Target haul this weekend. I LOVE TARGET! :) I went for a new swim suit and some beach towels because we were invited to friends house to swim in their pool but Jonathan and I didn't have any beach towels. Who doesn't have beach towels? It's really weird that we didn't have any because in the summer we go to the lake and waterpark a lot. Anyways, while at Target I got sucked into the health and beauty aisles just like I always do. I picked up some new foundation, mascara and a pretty glitter liner. Of course, I had to create a look using them!

DUD-alicious: Maybelline Master Duo

I bought this eyeliner quite a few months ago, and at the time I hadn't dabbled into drugstore brands yet. Working in Prestige Cosmetics at Ulta turned me into a real makeup snob. I only purchased expensive brands because, obviously, they were better quality. But after a while of watching YouTube tutorials and reading beauty blogs I developed an interest in drugstore makeup. If these beauty gurus can buy and love these products, why can't I? So I took a trip to Target to see what there was. I thought the idea of the Duo ended eyeliner applicator was genius! And they had it in PURPLE?! For only 5 bucks? Ok, I'm sold. In fact, I even bought one in purple and one in black. MISTAKE.
