I had been reading about Wantable for a little while before I decided to sign up. I was only able to find positive reviews about this one, and believe me, I tried to find something negative so I wouldn't want to sign up! This is a unique subscription box program because they let you pick between a beauty box or a jewelry box. You make your decision and fill out a detailed survey to determine what products you like and hate. The subscribtion is $36 a month with the option to opt out or pause at any time. So, I went for it! My box was delivered THREE days after I purchased it. THREE DAYS!! I couldn't believe how quick it was.
I haven't had a chance to play with everything yet, but I have taken pictures! Here's what I received and my initial thoughts on each product.

KnockOut Cosmetics Flatte Polish in Liberty: I was super excited to see this in my box! I love the mint trend that's happening right now (I know the photo doesn't look like mint green, but it is). This is supposed to be a "flatte" aka matte polish. You can bet your last dollar that I will be doing a review/swatch of this guy. It retails at $14.

Cala Travel Retractable Lip Brush: I don't really wear a lot of lip stick which is why I've never spent money of a lip brush. I love lip glosses and most of the time they come with a perfectly functioning applicator. But maybe this will change that aspect of my life. It says it provides a smooth and even application of all lip products. It comes with a cap which makes it a travel tool. This one retails for $8.
Lise Watier Haute Couleur High Coverage Lip Lacquer in Signature: I wasn't impressed with the color I recieved. I tend to like either dark wine/pink, pale pinks or nudes. Signature is a light mauvy/rose color with the perfect amount of shimmer. The packaging claims to provide shine, intense color, comfort and hydration...all things I look for in a lip gloss! Even more exciting? There is a mirror attached to the side and the lid has an LED light for evening applications! GENIUS. I really hope this color pans out, or I might have to invest in another one. It retails for $22.

FACE Stockholm Matte Shadow in Stubborn: Another product I wouldn't usually buy because of how intense it is! I love intense shadows, but I can's rationalize dropping money of something I won't use very often. That's why I like to get shadow palettes. I am really excited I received this though. Cobalt blue (again, the actually product is a little darker than it is in the photo) is yet another trend that's happening and now I get an opportunity to test it out. Just as the name suggests, it is a matte shadow. I think I might do a post with this one because I can already think a couple different looks I want to try. Retails for $20.

Lise Watier Eyebrow Essentials in Brunette: Now that I am platinum again, these colors are too dark for me. I would've loved them when I had the copper though! This kit is awesome. It comes with two colors, a pair of mini tweezers and an double sided applictator. I really love the colors and I think I will use them as eyeshadows, honestly. Theres a warm medium brown and a cool medium brown. The tweezers couldn't have come at a better time in my life since I just happend to lose mine! The applictaor isn't very impressive, however. One end is an angled brow brush but in my opinion it isn't thin enough. The other end is a sponge applicator and I never use those. It's not much of a surprise though because I am rarely impressed with an included applicator. This cute kit retails for $23. |

Apothederm Firming Serum Sample: This is an anti-aging face serum that I have no need for. I will end up giving this to my mom...not because I think she needs it! But because I know she likes things like this and I would hate for it to go to waste.
Bottom Line: The only product that I was really stoked to receive was the mint matte polish. I do see the potential for a developed love towards the eye shadow, lip gloss and brow kit (even thought I'll use it as eye shadow). I think it's awesome that I have never heard of any of these brands. It gives me an opportunity to branch out and try something I normally wouldn't. The grand retail value of this box is $87! It was definitely worth the investment. I think I'll keep it for another month! :)
Do you receieve a Wantable Box? Do you love it? Tell me all about your Wantable experience...I want to know!
