I have never claimed to be a talented manicurist! I just love decorating my nails. I don't get crazy with designs because I'm sure it would look horrible. But I do enjoying playing with different colors and textures. And because my hands are in water every day all day, I am usually repainting every Monday...hence "Mani Monday"!
This week I went with a matte mint green accented with a bright pink with silver sparkles layered on top. I love the mixture of the matte finish with the sparkle on one nail. I tried to pick a color that contrasted the green and I think the pink does it!
I used Essie's First Base Base Coat to prime all my nails. I then painted 2 coats of the matte green (KnockOut Cosmetics Flatte Polish in Liberty) on every nail except my middle fingers. On my middle fingers I used the bright pink (by OPI but I can't remember the name...I got in a mini set) and then layered Essie's Luxeffects in Set In Stones. I used Essie's Matte About You Top Coat on the mint green and Essie's Good to Go! Top Coat on the sparkly pink.
