Aren't you tired of empty grocery bags taking up precious space in that kitchen drawer or under the sink? I sure was! That's where this super easy DIY comes in! I thought I had pinned a similar DIY project, but I can't seem to find it on any of my boards. I know that I didn't come up with this idea on my own! I just wish I could give due credit to the blog I got it from. Life must go on, right?
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Empty wipes container
- Scissors
- Tape or glue
- Blank sheet of paper (or scrapbook paper/wrapping paper)
- Pens/Markers (or in my case, highlighters since I didn't have anything else!)
- Energy pumping Spotify or Pandora station!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. First, I stripped the empty wipes container of it's rightful label. Then I washed it out because there was still chemical infested liquid left from the wipes.
2. Next, I made the new and improved label. In retrospect, I wish I had spent more time decorating. I know that it's just going to house grocery/garbage bags and sit on a shelf in the pantry. BUT, it can still look pretty! Using my teal wrapping paper instead of the white printer paper could have drastically improved it's appearance. Or I could've bought some scrapbooking paper with a floral design. This is where I want you to learn from my mistakes! Anyways, here I measured the paper to be sure it would fit in height and cut accordingly. I then proceeded to draw little hearts with my blue highlighter and write "Garbage Bags" with my Sharpie. After I was happy with my new label, I taped one side to the empty wipes container and rolled it around and taped the other end down.
3. Now, it's time to make the lid grocery bag accessible. All I did was cut out the center plastic part...not sure what it's called.
4. Then, I stuffed my new grocery bag hold with bags. I could only fit 15 in the small size container I had, and I'm not sure why I'd ever need more than 15 on hand. Popped the lid back on, and there you have it!
I would love to see what you come up with!
Comment below with what improvements you would make or did make. Also, let me know if you enjoy posts like this. I am always looking for feedback. :)

Smart, way better looking than the container the bags come in.
